Lombino Martino is a Pre Paid Law service that offers limited help for the monthly fee and discounted help past that. They are very limited in what they will do when it is two individuals having issues. Where they really excel is in the taking on of business vs consumer and traffic tickets.
They just confirmed what I already knew about the Jones Act. My son needed to get off a cruise ship a day early and the cruise line said if he disembarked early, he would be fined $2000 or more. The lawyer said we wouldn't get fined quite that much.
I went to them about my wife being discriminated at our apartment complex because of her service animal. We were being evicted because my wife has a service animal and this law firm did not provide any good advice. Instead we had to find out resources to use that would be better help.
Seemingly unable to understand simple explanations of tenant-landlord problems communicated repeatedly by 67 yr old college graduate with I.Q. of 147.
My advice is to complain and make as fuss as soon as possible. The more you abuse them, the better they'll treat you. {para}I was given no help or attention until I complained and asked for my file so I could go to another law firm.{para}Suddenly I was treated like royalty, and my problem became their emergency.

Working with Mr. Jennings on my probate case was painful. I needed to have my sister sign some documents and have them notarized. She lives in South Carolina. The attorney was told that, but the paperwork came with the the notary signature section like she was in Washington. Second, I never received any updates on the status of the case or next steps. When I call, no answer. When I email, response received a week later and then I'm charged. Many times the paperwork I received had typos and needed to be completed again. Lastly, Mr. Jennings sent an email in May stating it would be 30 to 60 more days until completed. I emailed in August because hadn't heard anything. To my surprise I have a refund check from them, but there was no explanation on how the funds had been disbursed. The last statement I received from them showed an additional $450. Based on my prior experience with them, I guess I am suppose to assume I was charged $450 for them to read my email.
