Finding an Attorney is a daunting task. The "simple" decision of who you trust to resolve your legal issue, just might be the determining factor of your outcome. I found Tom to be smart & focused on the legal issues and strategies needed to resolve my matters. He priced himself fairly & never once did I think I was over billed, I actually found him to be very respectful to my charges. To paraphrase the credit card TV commercial, “a fair, honest and intelligent attorney” Priceless.

Hired Attorney Thomas Weiss

Tom did an excellent job in protecting my rights in the family court case. He did exactly what he was suppose to do and most importantly showed up on time for the case. He's calm and explained the proceedings and the law to me, even when i didn't understand the first time around.
His advise is not to create more conflict but to resolve it when the opportunity arose. But when it was time to actively pursue my rights, he is the person who has done it better then any other lawyer that i have hired

Filed professional misconduct complaint with NY Bar Association Dec. 2017. Retained Thomas Weiss in a nasty divorce in 2014. When I relieved Mr. Weiss of his duties because the cost of the contested divorce exceeded my ability to pay and take care of my children with no child support, Mr. Weiss continued to bill (without my knowledge) for court costs associated with withdrawing from the case to the tune of 5k....Three years later -.Nov. 2017...seeking fee arbitration. You be the judge!

This client attempted to file a baseless grievance only as revenge for bringing an arbitration with respect to our legal fees. We won the arbitration and the grievance was immediately dismissed.

Thomas Weiss was not responsive to email. He also charged us an initial deposit aside from the funds he received at closing. He incorrectly read that there were liens on the property at the day of closing and gave us some other terrible advice.

Absolutely no idea who this person is. Clearly does not describe our office as we only charge flat fees on residential closings that are paid at the closing. Lien statement makes no sense as liens would have come up well in advance on a title report.

I had Thomas represent me in my family law/divorce case and I can honestly say he is a is a HORRIBLE and UNKNOWLEDGABLE lawyer !! .Words can truely describe the damage he causes my case and the high price i has to pay for his careless errors . You are honestly Bette rofd representing yourself than to have a lawyer like him representing you .He also acts charming initially and once retainer is given he doesn't speak nor represent you well .
