We turned to Moen Sheehan Meyer when we were facing home foreclosure. We tried to negotiate a loan modification on our own for over a year, but repeatedly received the runaround from the lender until they ultimately filed for foreclosure. At this point we knew we had to get an attorney. We consulted with Joe Skemp and he gave us several options we didn't know about, and ultimately saved our home. He and the other attorneys and staff were a godsend and made this stressful time a bit easier.
Attorney Joseph Skemp, Jr. has worked with me for over a year helping resolve issues with placement and visitation for my children. At all times, Attorney Skemp had the best interest of my children in mind. He is very thorough and an excellent attorney. He has a terrific, kind, and professional team of support staff, which was readily available to communicate with me. Bid on Promises, bad delivering
Joe Skemp, complete joke! I was not a high caliber client and was treated like a second class citizen but still paying the same rates. I had to continuously reach out to them; they would very seldom return my phone calls and yet still charge me a review of my file monthly fee when we didn’t talk for 2 months. From first introduction they seemed like an aggressive strong firm and quoted “I don’t foresee why you shouldn't be able to have that in your favor”. A few months into the dispute, I f

If I could rate the firm with Joe Skemp lower than 'Poor' I would. Literally the worst customer service you will ever get in your life. We were told one thing on the phone, then in writing then he back tracks & states that's not what he says. Joe will bill you for everything when he hasn't done anything. He can't call at scheduled phone conference times, lies straight to you, back peddles on everything he says, & is frankly just too lazy to actually work. Claims he "Couldn't get voicemails" because he "had to fire his assistant" Claims "Because of medical leave" & "Because of Covid" meanwhile everyone else is doing your job for you. Joe Skemp will happily screw you over & take your money. If you need an attorney who is unreliable, unorganized, unprofessional, rude, arrogant, and down right awful... book Joe! I hope & pray no one ever has to deal with this man ever again!
