They need to be more responsive and caring for a person who they are representing, they are slow letting a person know what is going on with their case,
You are better off avoiding unpolished and unprofessional Mitchell Breit. He is prosecuting a class action claim, sending out notification of membership in his class, and including a Garden City, NY mailing address to contact him with objection to his settlement, or exclusion from it. Problem is, when attempting to mail him at the address provided in the documentation, which is out of state, letters are returned to sender. This has happened twice now. So, you might suspect he would return a phone call if you tried to reach him? Since he doesn't do that, it must be the case that he prefers low, failing, or 1 star client reviews. This guy’s net effect is stultifying. He should be communicating within a mailroom!
Jeff Westerman was one of the lead attorney's of the KAL class action lawsuit. Despite handing the case well. He refuses to pay the clients or communicate with them effectively. It has been 3 years and he keeps delaying payment despite the case being settled and all the distribution has been met. He refuses to answer why payment is not being mailed out.
You wouldn't have represented me for over a year if I didn't have a case. You were angry that I was getting aggravated from getting the run around from their firm. Emails and complaints regarding you and Aleris are going out today. You terminated my representation after 1 half years and I had letters submitted that I was a victim on March 17, 2024. They keep money and terminated me as client due to questioning their lack of communication, procrastination of sending settlement...and question the validity that Aleris exists. They are rude and I have every email from them and whomever pretended to be Aleris plus my proof of being a victim of cyber attack. DO NOT use these people.
I believe this law firm does not care about its clients or justice. I was trying to get in as a class action customer for a data breach, after months of no contact they told me either i was not a customer or not a part of the breach. Both statements patently untrue. I had also uploaded the breach notice and statements and asked them on email to confirm they got it but got no response. Googling their name I found out they have been caught doing other shady things in past as well, so not surprised they dont care about their clients. Did I mention they never respond to you? Absolutely avoid.
HORRIBLE! I was assigned to this law firm through a lawyer referral service advertised on Facebook. Kristina Rosario was supposed to be working on my case. She told me that I qualify for compensation, and then started ignoring my emails as soon as she got my medical records. Several emails asking questions were ignored and she failed to even acknowledge receipt of updated medical records I sent her. After over a month of being ignored, I emailed again asking if it is too late to fire her. Suddenly, a response. An hour later, some stranger, Randi Kassan, sent me an email terminating their representation of me. The way they treated me was appalling! I have stage 4 lymphoma from drinking contaminated water and my chances of being alive 6 months from now are only about 50%. I have no medical insurance and I live in poverty and will apparently die in poverty because I am too sick to find another attorney. My paralegal sister in law is going to help me file an ethics complaint this week.
