About G. Keith Alley, P.C.

Knoxville litigator with more than 20 years of experience serving individuals and businesses with interests in Tennessee

With over two decades of experience in the practice of law, I represent those with legal issues involving construction, real estate, contested trusts and wills, business disputes, conservatorships, contracts, landlord/tenant disputes, homeowners’ associations, motor vehicle accidents, and serious personal injuries. At the law office of G. Keith Alley P.C., I help my clients identify their legal issues, set clear goals and create comprehensive plans to achieve favorable, successful outcomes.

People and their relationships are important to me and help to shape the backbone of my practice. When you call me, I answer or return your call. When you email me, I respond to your message. I believe that effective legal representation starts with effective communication. Legal problems can seem complex and overwhelming, but I provide practical advice and strategies to help you evaluate and pursue solutions that work for the facts of your case.

I am admitted to practice by the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Tennessee, and the state courts of Tennessee. While licensed to practice in any county in Tennessee, most of my clients’ matters involve issues in the counties of Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, McMinn, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, Union, and Washington.

I actively serve as the Municipal Court Judge for the Town of Farragut, as the Chair of the Town of Farragut’s Board of Zoning Appeals, as a Hearing Committee Panel Member for the Tennessee Supreme Court’s Board of Professional Responsibility, as an office for the Board of Directors for Legal Aid of East Tennessee, and as a member of the Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel. I am the past President of the Loudon County Bar Association and a current member of the Anderson County, Blount County, Knoxville, Loudon County, Sevier County and Tennessee Bar Associations.

I realize that budgeting for legal matters can be difficult and that the need for representation can be immediate. My office can accept most major credit cards to pay for fees and fund retainers.

Hired Attorney G. Keith Alley

As a businessman, I have a good deal of experience with lawyers. Most of which have been disappointing (or worse). Having Keith in my corner has restored my confidence to move in the business world, knowing I have his overwatch. His team are effective and efficient. Keith is a good listener and shoots straight.

Considered Keith when dealing with an insurance company due to an auto accident. Keith was a great help in dealing with the insurance that was so aweful. Litigation finally got them to do the right thing.

Mr. Alley is an excellant attorney. He kept me informed of all precedings and always returned my calls in a timely manner. I live out of state, and I trusted him to handle a matter in a rural community. He kept me well informed and my case had a positive outcome. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a trustworthy, dependable attorney. He won my case and he will win yours too.

I am a lawyer. My wife and I are under contract to purchase an expensive home that, upon inspection, was discovered by the termite inspector to have evidence of termite infestation. Keith provided excellent advice for dealing with the situation. Where there is dampness there may well be termites. Just by looking at pictures of the rear of the house Keith was able to diagnose the source of the dampness that gave rise to the termites. Keith opined that dark stains on the brick wall below the windows on both levels resulted from a faulty flashing design or installation. Being a litigator myself and having conducted major litigation involving flashing issues on a seven story hi-rise apartment building located in Ohio I instantly understood the points that he was raising. I confirmed his opinion with my Florida home inspector who also happens to be a licensed general contractor. The inspector totally agreed with Keith's opinion. As a consequence, we terminated our purchase contract.

Nikki helped us out on a real estate transaction matter and was fantastic. We had some tight deadlines and she exceeded all of them and explained some tricky areas clearly to us as we are not in the TN area. Great service and would definitely use again and highly recommend her.

We need more legal advisors like Keith. I appreciate keith's skill's. He is wise, kind, thoughtful and very accurate. He helped me see what I could do and could not do. At the end of the day I got way more value than I expected. You won my recommendation and admiration.

In our case, Mr. Alley conducted himself in a friendly and highly professional manner at all times. His command of his profession and high competency came through immediately in consultation and was evident in his correspondence. His humanity shows. He is tough when it's warranted, yet is able to understand the value in compromise in order to minimize losses. We are grateful for his thorough approach and are happy with the outcome he got for us.

I would seriously question the validity of these other "anonymous" reviews because my families experience of using this firm was an absolute disastaer. My name is on this because this really happened. Not sure if the area of focus was not the sweet spot but holy cow did they not deliver. We had a tenant pay $0 over 4 months and literally say in court that he wouldn't cooperate with the housing program and with the stalwart representation of this firm he got another court date NEXT YEAR and has still not paid $1 and there has been no eviction filed. Maybe we can blame his parralegal but if thats the standard he hires and trains for then you take the risk of using this firm with eyes wide open.
