About Ms. Beth Ann Serafini-Smith

Beth A. Serafini-Smith is a distinguished graduate of Purdue University and a graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law. She is a member of both the Katy Bar Association and the Fort Bend County Bar Association.

Beth began her law career in the field of Creditor/Debtor law after being admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1997. She provided direct support to several Fortune 500 companies and handled all matters associated with securing outstanding funds for her clients.

Beth moved to Texas with her family in 2005, and she passed the Texas Bar Exam in 2009. As a means to further enhance her legal experience, she interned at the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office. She has been practicing law in the area of Probate and Estate Planning since March of 2012.

In August 2013 The Serafini Smith Law Firm opened its doors. The firm focuses on Probate, Estate Planning, and Trusts. Beth is proud to serve clients in Katy, Richmond, West Houston and surrounding areas!

Hired Attorney

Working with Ms. Beth has been a great experience. For a couple in our early 50's, we did not know what we should do to protect our assets and plan for things that Will happen. We wanted to make sure our children do not have to make hard decision for us. Ms. Beth explained everything in a way for us to understand. She was patient when we asked questions. We could have used any Attorney, but we wanted a person who is personable and who doesn't treat us just as a client. She understands that death is a very difficult thing to talk about and she put us at ease and helped us through it. Ms Beth made our Wills and Medical Power of Attorney.

Hired Attorney

Beth Smith was extremely professional and efficient in working through my mom’s probate. Mom’s passing occurred in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, and despite the challenges that were presented, Ms. Smith was able to work with the courts and expedite the proper filings. I really appreciate her compassion and expertise, and I wholeheartedly recommend her as lawyer.

Hired Attorney

Ms. Serafini-Smith had prepared my will, POA, DNR, etc. When my husband passed away, she helped me get through the difficult time of going through probate and legal documents that I did not have a clue needed to be done. She was helpful; answers emails promptly; explains procedures, etc. in ways you understand. She helps you through the process and keeps you abreast of what is going on or what needs to be done. I recommend her highly.

Hired Attorney

Beth successfully guided me through the probate process when my wife passed away. She was very knowledgeable and she explained the sequence of events as we progressed. She was responsive when I had questions and was always available for consultation. At our initial meeting, she showed a lot of compassion for my situation. It was nice to have an attorney with empathy! I highly recommend her for probate matters.
