My father was in failing health and my mother had passed away a few months prior. My goal was to be prepared to sell his house after passing but Beth pointed out that we first had to take care of my mother's probate. I had never been through this process before and she was critical to walking me through the process as well as finding an attorney in Tyler to handle the probate in front of the judge. This was more involved than it should have been as we had lost the original will and therefore required 2 disinterested witnesses. Thankfully, Beth stayed in contact with all parties ensuring all the necessary paperwork was executed and filed with the court. Our firm in Canada was required to hire a lawyer in Texas to obtain a "re-sealing" of a Grant of Probate in Texas and then close out a US bank account in the name of the deceased.
