Ashley Myers, P.A. is a Jacksonville law firm serving clients in northeast Florida with a practice focused exclusively on family law issues. Attorney Ashley Myers leads a legal team with more than 31 years of combined experience. Certified by the Florida Bar Association as a specialist in marital and family law, she has extensive experience handling simple and complex divorces involving property division, custody arrangements, child support, alimony and business issues. Her goal is to provide care, guidance and compassionate assistance during what is often a very stressful time for those she represents. She strives to help clients resolve disputes quickly and discretely through negotiation and mediation, but when settlement is not possible, she is always prepared to aggressively litigate matters in court. She has been recognized by numerous organizations for maintaining high standards of legal excellence. She is also the first woman in the Northeast Florida region to be named Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Hired Attorney Ashley Myers Esq.

If you want to live every day regretting the choice you made for representation…she’s your huckleberry. When opposing council asked for a time contingent update on financial standing she waited til 3 days before it was due to notify me. I was the party with no money. She told me that I couldn’t get alimony… not true. She never asked for an update of my husband’s financial status and his income was up $40,000 in the three years she dragged her feet. She will take your case for the retainer….but good luck getting her to do right by you. She cost me so much.

Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
