We hired Joe Gasarro in August 0f 2024 for a child custody case. We paid him $3,000.00 upfront through Zelle. January of 2025 was the last time we heard from him and nothing was ever done. He took our money and ran and we haven't been a le to get in touch with him since then. We would love to get our money back. Joe took my money and was paid in full upfront. He failed to notify me of a hearing and then only gave me 1 hour notice of the next hearing. He showed up unprepared and cost me dearly in my child custody case. BEWARE! I do not recommend this attorney.

We hired Joe in 2022, and he WAS great. We hired him to help with the adoption of our little girl. But in 2024 all that started to change. Now that we can get the case opened with our new lawyer we have found out that he has done nothing on this case since April of 2024. He lied about all the Hearings he set up. And December of 2024 was the last time I heard from him. I did notice he can no longer practice law in the state of Florida on the Bar Website. Obviously due to the complaints. After months of waiting with no updates or progress, we requested a refund in November 2024. He claimed he had started the case and would send documents, but nothing ever happened. This attorney took our money and completely failed to do his job. He is unresponsive, unprofessional, and unethical. This is the worst Attorney. He lies and cannot be trusted. DO NOT hire this attorney. My husband and I paid him in full. He did absolutely nothing for the case. He spent more time lying and manipulating us and now has stopped communicating with us. My husband has filed a complaint with the Bar and we plan on taking legal actions. To anyone who has had the same experience should do the same.
Mr gasparro failed to complete my simple case I hired him in May 25th 2023 and we are in 2025 now and he haven't complete my case at all He been lying to me back and forth Coming with excuses and ZERO PROOF I feel abuse, frustrated with all this I been trying to contact him and he just ignores all my calls and messages. I pay him in FULL over zelle And all the he been done is lie to me Wasting my time i lost my job cause I couldn't relocate cause my son needed a passport to be able to fly and I couldn't get that cause Mr gasparro Haven't complete my case at all. Since 2023 he just been making final hearing dates up and coming with excuses the don't make senses. One day he called me screaming at me over the phone cause I complained to him the I felt the I was getting scam and he told me the if I keep going with that, the he was gonna drop off my case with no refund, he sounded the he was drunk and I told him about it and he calm down after I say that He's attitude changed so quick
