Reviews for Gunster
Have you consulted or hired this firm?
Leave a review about your experience with this firm.I spoke with several attorneys in the Jacksonville area and they were basically unanimous that John is the premier trust and estate litigation attorney in North Florida. I am very pleased with his representation to date.
John is highly knowledgeable and very clear on his explanations regarding options and strategies. He responds to all e-mails and calls immediately and most importantly he gets results!
Josh is a excellent attorney. The best transaction lawyer I have ever worked with.
Extremely pleased with the professionalism of Mr. Carmody, his assistant, receptionist....the entire practice! Have used him since this first situation, for other legal issues and have recommended him to friends & family.

According to New York Times best selling author 80% of the world's lawyers are in the United States and the legal profession has become so large it is being used to steal. After reviewing account statements I found that Mr. Cole was billing an account for services that seem contrived. He was hired as a 3rd party attorney by a major bank. Those services were for a "situs change" back to Florida. Yet the situs never left Florida in the first place according to the legal department of a state chartered financial services company. It is also apparent the situs never left Florida if one reviews the statutes and the governing document. In order to change the situs, according to Florida law, a court proceeding would have been required. That court proceeding never happened. In order to justify the charges Mr. Cole sent a document of questionable origin indicating the situs was changed to Ohio in 2007. But we have documentation showing that the situs was in Florida in 2008.
Was Mr. Cole dipping his hands into the cookie jar? After reviewing account statements I found that Mr. Cole was billing an account established upon our father's death at an exorbitant rate for services that seem contrived. He was hired as a 3rd party attorney by a major bank. Those services were for a "situs change" back to Florida. Yet the situs never left Florida in the first place according to the legal department of a state chartered financial services company. It is also apparent the situs never left Florida if one reviews the statutes and the governing document for the account. In order to change the situs, according to Florida law, a court proceeding would have been required. That court proceeding never happened. In order to justify the charges Mr. Cole sent a document of questionable origin indicating the situs was changed to Ohio in 2007. But we have documentation showing the situs was still in Florida in 2008. It seems Mr. Cole was skimming.
Beware of using this law firm, They've exposed people's information, then pretty much tell you to f off when you call asking questions. Sounds to me that they're buying and selling people's personal data and then passing it off as a data breach so they don't have to take responsibility. Yea, That's why they respect their peers, Because there friends can't legally go against them, So they get away with everything. This place is a sorry excuse for a law firm and sorry excuse for decent human beings. Use them if you want to but you've been warned
