Paid a retainer, had a few calls, then they referred me to another attorney and invoiced me another $100. Never got any answers or help after $2000 paid. Very disappointed. If I could give zero stars, I would. Rubin & Levin, P.C. is one of the most dishonest and unethical law firms I have ever dealt with. They are nothing more than scammers posing as attorneys, using fraudulent tactics to steal funds and violate consumer protection laws. Deceptive & Illegal Practices They refuse to comply with federal and state debt collection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and bankruptcy protections under 11 U.S.C. § 362. Even after being legally notified of bankruptcy filings, they continue illegal collection efforts, including bank account freezes and wage garnishments. They obtain default judgments without properly serving defendants, making their lawsuits fraudulent and unenforceable. Stealing Money & Ignoring the Law Rubin & Levin have a track record of freezing bank accounts without proper legal authority, even targeting Social Security, retirement benefits, and business funds, which are legally protected.
