Having two attorneys working on the same case. Possible?

Mark J. Curley
Answered by attorney Mark J. Curley (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Curley Immigration Law, PC LLO
Generally, you should have only one attorney at a time.  If you are not happy with your current attorney, you can seek a second opinion regarding your case.  I do not see the purpose in having two attorneys working on the same case.  The NJ State Bar Association may have rules against such a situation. Good luck, Mark

How can I help keep my fiance who is in prison to remain in theis country without ICE picking him up?

Answered by attorney David Troy Cox
Immigration lawyer at CoxEsq, PC
ICE cannot deport him immediately--he is entitled to a hearing in front of an immigration judge where he can make a case to stay in the US.
