Three years of work experience can + one year of college. You need to send in your education diploma/transcripts and work experience for evaluation. There are several places that do this: I recommend Trust-forte as they are reputable.

How do I petition for my mother?

An Adjustment of Status Application must be filed. This application will hopefully have the end result of obtaining lawful permanent residency. Once it is filed, the work-permit will be issued in a few months. Afterwards, in about 6 months to 1 year, the final interview will be conducted. Should you want to retain my firm to send an attorney with you to the interview, we will be happy to do so. Assuming you are a US Citizen and she did not enter with the intent to get residency.

Hello. Cases are taking about this much time if not more. You may want to check the status online or call and make sure a Request for Evidence was not sent. Otherwise, it should be processed soon. If it is moved to the district office, then you know you are waiting to be scheduled for another interview. I hope this helps.
