What is needed after USCIS to NVC when applying relative spouse visa?

NVC will email you. First, you will be asked to pay online $230 and $88 visa processing fees. Then, you will be asked to file form I-864 and all supporting documents. Then NVC will verify your file for completeness and let you know if any other important documents are missing. Finally, your wife will be completing form DS-260 online, and from there, the case will go to the US Embassy. Before the interview your wife will have to obtain her police clearances (that she was never arrested or convicted of any crime) and a medical exam. It could be a long process, so be patient and strictly comply with all their requests for documentation.

You need to prepare for the interview; also, the I 130 and I 485 have to be filled with other forms, which you , hopefully, attached as well.

Marrying canadian citizen

Hello and thank you for your inquiry. I would need more information to better advise. But, assuming he is in the US on a lawful tourist entry or other visa, you can file for his status in the US. He will get a temporary work/travel permit in 3 months. He cannot leave the US until he receives this document/permit. I offer free consultations, if you want to call or email directly, so I can confirm his case and qualifications. 858-874-0711. Harun@ksvisalaw.com
