How can I invest or get social security in the US?

Answered by attorney David Nabow Soloway
Immigration lawyer at Kennedy, Nalepa & Soloway, P.C.
Significantly more information is needed in order to answer your questions, but generally anyone is lawfully able to invest money in the United States, and there are many laws and regulations that address who may be eligible to receive Social Security benefits in the U.S. If you may need advice regarding immigration legal issues, it would be wise to engage an immigration attorney to assist you, and if you may be interested in applying for Social Security benefits, it would be wise to engage a Social Security attorney to assist you. Some immigration law firms, including mine, offer legal services on a "flat fee" basis so that a client will know the total expense from the very beginning, and a few immigration law firms, including mine, offer an initial consultation free of charge. How can I replace my green card?

Answered by attorney William D. Fong (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Fong Ilagan
File for a replacement card with Form I-90. You can still file for your naturalization, with evidence that you filed the I-90, but you should have you're a number or a photocopy of your green card.

Should we immediately file a marriage certificate in the US or contact an immigration attorney first?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Myron Russell Morales (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Quan Law Group, PLLC
You will need to take care of the marriage license and certificate before an immigration lawyer could file an adjustment of status to lawful permanent residence. You should at least have a consultation with an immigration lawyer before you marry to make sure that you fully understand the risks of your plans.
