If you are legally in the country, you should be able to travel if the arrest is your only concern. An arrest for driving with a suspended license would not make you excludable or removable. Immigration lawyer at Francis John Cowhig
After 5 years, you are eligible to apply for citizenship. You must pass the citizenship exam and be able to show good moral conduct, meaning no criminal convictions during the previous 5 years from the date your citizen application is filed.

How do I go about it and what kind of evidence do I put together to prove it's a bona fide marriage?

Answered by attorney David Nabow Soloway
Immigration lawyer at Kennedy, Nalepa & Soloway, P.C.
The USCIS repeatedly has expressed its position that the appropriate documents to be supplied as evidence of the bona fide nature of a couple's marital relationship must be determined on a case-by-case basis, according to the circumstances of the couple. Nonetheless, in general the most persuasive evidence includes: a child's birth certificate identifying both persons as parents; documents showing the couple has "put their financial lives together," such as bank statements from a joint bank account into which both persons deposit their earnings and from which the household expenses are paid; residential leases or home deeds in both spouses' names; tax returns; utility bills and other documents from third parties; photographs of the couple together with other family members; etc. There really is no substitute for working with an immigration attorney who, after learning all of the relevant information about you, your husband, your marriage, etc. would be able to advise you about the most appropriate supporting documentation to submit and would be able to offer legal representation to your family in the often quite complex application process.
