Can a US Citizen apply for his sibling which was in the US and over stayed his visa and faced the 10 year bar, and is currently in Germany?

Answered by attorney Bruce A. Coane (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Coane & Associates, PLLC
The citizen can certainly file the visa petition for the sibling in Germany and it would normally be approved. The "bar" issues arise when the quota number is reached many years from now.

How can I get a visa for my father who voluntarily was deported?

Answered by attorney Jennifer Maude Oltarsh
Immigration lawyer at Oltarsh & Associates, P.C.
There is a general non-immigrant visa waiver if his crime makes him inadmissible. You will have to explain the purpose of the trip and his equities.
