What can I do if my father was deported?

Answered by attorney Lynne Rogers Feldman
Immigration lawyer at Feldman Feldman Associates, PC
Your father's situation is complicated and cannot be analyzed on a Question Board. Recommend you pay for a consultation with an experienced attorney to properly advise you and him. You will need copies of his criminal convictions and deportation orders to assess his case. An attorney can help you obtain these if you don't have them.

Can I go to Mexico after a felony charge?

Answered by attorney Bruce A. Coane (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Coane & Associates, PLLC
Depending on all of the facts, it is quite possible you would be stopped, and maybe even jailed, upon your return. If it was a drug offense, the chances of being jailed are even greater.

How long will it take to get my husband in USA through the I-130?

Answered by attorney David Troy Cox
Immigration lawyer at CoxEsq, PC
The NVC usually takes about 6-8 weeks to process a case (assuming all the documentation is in order).  The case then moves to the consulate for issuance of the visa.  The consulate can take a few months to schedule the interview and issue the visa.   You will have to be a citizen to file for your mother.
