Will I be fine after filling the application and is there any problem on the GC interview because I didn’t attend classes?

Generally, a person who entered the U.S. legally, later married a U.S. citizen, and now applies for adjustment of status on the basis of the spouse's immigrant petition, can adjust status even if he/she fell out of status after the entry into the U.S. However, in your case, there is likely to be a complication: you entered the U.S. on a F1 visa to get it, you represented to the U.S. Government that you would attend classes in the U.S. and then, you did not attend classes. USCIS is likely to view this as a visa fraud. If they do, you will be required to prove that it was not. Bottom line - get an immigration attorney before you file anything with USCIS.

Can my girlfriend who's a UK citizen legally stay in the US after our wedding? Or does she have to leave while her green card is being processed?

Answered by attorney Richard Stephan Kolomejec (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Richard S. Kolomejec
That should be fine. You can always file after the 60 day grace period. There is no penalty for the overstay. And she can remain in the US during the process. If done right, she can get a green card in about 3 months.

Can I legally marry an illegal immigrant to keep them in the United States?

Reza Athari
Answered by attorney Reza Athari (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Reza Athari & Associates, PLLC
You mention bf and I assume you mean boy friend and not best friend. If he is your boy friend and you plan to get married for Love and not necessarily to help him, yes that might be a way for him to become legal. Assuming that he has not travelled back and forth, if he came in the US with a visa, yes he can become a permanent resident without leaving the country, but if he crossed the border without inspection, he will have to depart and have his interview with a US consulate abroad and apply for a waiver. In any event, this is a very important matter and there are a lot of issues that needs to be dealt with by an experienced immigration attorney. Let us know if we can be of help.
