How long should we wait to process my mother's return to the US?

Answered by attorney William D. Fong (Unclaimed Profile)

She is an immediate relative (parent of a US citizen), so you can file for her now, but she would need to qualify for a waiver at the time that she applies for the immigrant visa at her home consulate. Consult with an experienced immigration attorney to determine her eligibility.
