How does one marry a Chinese woman?

Answered by attorney Alena Shautsova
Immigration lawyer at Law Offices of Alena Shautsova
You may get married in the US or China. As for the rest of your questions, you really should see an attorney rather than exposing your private concerns on public forum.

How can my mom get her citizenship if she does not speak English?

Answered by attorney William D. Fong (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Fong Ilagan
The only exception to the English language requirement is if she has been a permanent resident for 15 years and is over age 55. If she has a medically confirmed disability that precludes her from learning English, then she may qualify for a waiver.

Can my mom petition for my dad if she is a US citizen but is staying in the Philippines?

Answered by attorney Harun Kazmi
Immigration lawyer at Kazmi & Sakata
The processing times will be the same. The Petitioner must be a US resident in order to qualify. Thus, it is safer/better for you to apply for your Dad.
