Hey, if an alien overstays and the judge granted with voluntary departure, and the alien comes back on time, now he wants to visit US, is he able?

Answered by attorney Doreen A. Emenike

Hello, It would be a good idea to visit the U.S. consulate in your country for a visitor's visa. Depending on their reaction, you would have an idea about the type of welcome you may receive at the border. Please remember that you can still be turned away at the border or airport even though you have a valid visa. On the other hand, if you have a valid visa and proof to show that your visit will be temporary, you may be allowed in after some questioning at the U.S. airport or border.   Notes: This information is of a general nature and is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. You should consult an attorney for advice regarding your individual situation.

If I will be 21 years old in November, can file in July for my dad?

Answered by attorney David H Nachman
Immigration lawyer at NPZ Law Group
Assuming that you are a US citizen and you are 21 years of age you may be able to apply for your father's papers. One of the nuances of course is whether or not he is in the United States either in status or out of status. Please note that there is no substitute for the value of considering the use of a qualified immigration more professional for the preparation of this case.

Yes, but you may need to ask some (usually a friend or relative) who has sufficient income and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to be your husband's joint-sponsor.
