Will my boyfriend be approved of a visa if the invitation that I sent him is to stay at a hotel and not in our house?

There is nothing wrong with staying at a hotel and that alone should not be a basis for denying your boyfriend's application for a visitor visa. What is more important to demonstrate in the application is that your boyfriend has no immigrant intent by showing ties to his home country that are strong enough to make him want to return (e.g., permanent job, assets, permanent residence, family members, etc.).

Can this document, or any other document mailed by his wife ruin my brother's chances of getting approved for the Green Card?

Answered by attorney Lynne Rogers Feldman
Immigration lawyer at Feldman Feldman Associates, PC
If he hasn't had his immigrant visa interview by now then he is unlikely to get his green card anyway as he must be approved and enter the U.s. by September 30, 2013.

Can I divorce a greencard holder?

Answered by attorney Francis John Cowhig (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Francis John Cowhig
If you have had your green card for more than 2 years and all of the conditions on your green card have been removed, I do not believe you will lose your green card for divorcing your husband.
