What is the process for a temporary green card holder deportation from the United states of America after criminal conviction was vacated?

Answered by attorney Alan Lee
Immigration lawyer at Alan Lee Arthur Lee, Attorneys at Law
You may be eligible for a waiver of the "permanent" bar after you have been outside the US for 10 years. At that time, you could apply for one and it would be adjudicated in accordance with law. One of the things that will be considered is the aggravated felony even if the criminal conviction was vacated. In the eyes of DHS, an individual can be declared inadmissible if he or she admits the facts of the barring act. Can a green card holder mother sponsor divorced daughter?

Answered by attorney David H Nachman
Immigration lawyer at NPZ Law Group
If she is your natural daughter you would likely be able to sponsor her in the F-2B classification for a green card. There ARE nuances associated with cases of this nature and we strongly recommend that you consider the assistance of a qualified immigration law practitioner in connection with this type of undertaking.

Will I loose my H1 status if I also file L1 extension?

Answered by attorney David Troy Cox
Immigration lawyer at CoxEsq, PC
They shouldn't cancel each other out and they may both be approved.  You'll then have to choose which one to accept.
