Mr. Hancock volunteered to take my case through Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program. I am a disabled veteran living off of government pay, so I didn't have the money to hire one on my own. Once taking my case and learning of the details, he took a personal interest in my case and guided me through process to force payment from a man who has refused to pay for over six years. While he was completley honest about the time it might take to force his wallet open, yesterday I received my check. I offered to give him something... anything... but he said he refused anything I tried to give him. You hear a lot of stories about lawyers and their questionable ethics to bleed money from clients, and I have met a few, but Mr. Hancock is on the complete opposite side if the spectrum.
