Hired Attorney Barbara J. King Esq.

Barbara is always courteous, compassionate, forth rite, responsive and professional in all matters. She is extremely well respected by everyone I came into contact in regards to my case, judges, other attorneys and courthouse personnel all knew and greeted her warmly. Her kind and caring manner were a great comfort to me through a very trying and difficult case. Her honesty about what to expect & what we could achieve balanced by the costs expected were very helpful as well!

Barbara King represented me in my divorce and she was incredibly professional and always attentive. Above all else she got results without dragging the divorce out or making it worse. She solved problems right away and was readily available to answer my questions. We didn’t even have to go to court. Her prices were fair and reasonable and she sent me monthly itemized statements clearly outlining the work she was doing. We developed a plan and strategy together; agreed to stick to it and it worked

Barb did all she could for me and my daughter. She made me feel like she was really looking out for the both of us. She was sincere, but tough when it came to the issues that were most important to me. It was a long process, something that no one should have to go through, but if you do, I would recommend Barb without hesitation.

I feel very fortunate to have found Barb. I retained Barb three times over the past few years and she was always accessible , even while out of town, and always had a plan leading to expected outcomes. Barb was very clear regarding what I could expect throughout the litigation process as well as what the expected outcome would be. I always had strong confidence in Barb every time which helped ease my stress immensely. Phone calls as well as e mails were returned promptly, always.

Barbara was excellent. She knows her craft well, and I believe she will give honest advice- for example she advised me to settle where fighting would've earned her more fees, but not helped me, so she is honest. She will "tell you like it is" the way the law is not the way we'd like it to be. Her office is responsive.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
