Hiring him was a HUGE MISTAKE. He constantly bragged about his “40 years of experience” yet couldn’t remember facts from one day to the next. He didn’t bother to understand his client or who he truly was, omitting critical information that could have changed the outcome. He portrayed his client as someone none of us recognized, ignoring his community contributions entirely. When his client tried to give an intelligent closing statement about incarceration costs, he shut him down saying, “The court doesn’t care about money.” He came across as a tired old man just waiting for retirement rather than an advocate fighting for someone’s future. If you want an attorney who knows your name the next day, prepares thoroughly, and cares about your life, keep looking. This man isn’t it.
