I just spent 3 years fighting a criminal case in the 339th district court, so I'll make a long story very short here and say that it was an aggravated robbery, no injury to victim and honestly, it was a shoplifting incident. I still feel like I could've gotten a dismissal if I didn't plea out. I could've lost though, too. the only offer for the entire case, all 3 years, was 20 years in TDCJ. He was a fantastic lawyer. I had hired a firm and he came in as my PD and made us feel very comfortable. I googled him and he is OG lawyer status in this city. Best way to reach him is via Email. Calls will get you nowhere. Just know he's only not answering because he's ACTUALLY doing his job for you. Btw he got me 4 years of probation for the aggravated robbery (my second robbery felony so there's was an enhancement also) Just trust him but most importantly, do your part too! Chainge your life right now, and with his finesse you can fix this. Start you're new life. I know I am.
Gary M. Polland is very expensive however, he knew and was on a friendly basis everyone that mattered in the Criminal Courts building. Mr. Polland could have done more to help me and I feel that in the end he let me down. Polland had me plead "no contest" to a crime that I did NOT commit. The main thing is that Poland helped reduce the charges to a minor offense and resulting in Probation and community service hours without any jail time.
