Welcome to Bragg Law, PC. Since 1983, it has been my honor to assist my clients in resolving their legal issues. My desire to improve the lives of those around me has always been a driving force in my career. I strive to ensure that everyone who enters my office leaves feeling more confident and better situated to face the task ahead.

It is my pledge to you that I will work tirelessly to provide an amicable solution for your case. Even in the most complex situations, you can rely on my tenacity, my mediation skills, and my determination. I will never stop working to improve myself and my legal skills in order to better serve you, my trusted clients, in your time of need. I have been honored to be entrusted by our courts to serve as Attorney Ad Litem and Guardian Ad Litem to represent the best interests of minor children, incapacitated elderly, and individuals with mental health problems.

When I’m not practicing law, I love to read and write. I have authored educational books and programs for other attorneys, such as HIPAA for the General Practitioner. My goal with these programs is to advance lawyers’ skills and knowledge of the healthcare industry. My first foray into fiction, Crosstown Park: An Alex Stockton Legal Thriller, has quickly become a favorite amongst lawyers and thrill-seekers alike. As my writing portfolio expands, I have had the opportunity to share my experience through public speaking and my work with the National Speakers Association and the National Speakers Association Houston. I frequently speak at writer’s conferences and consult with authors about their publication needs.

Philanthropy and community also play a huge part in my life. Over the years, I have been active in my local, state, and national bar associations. I currently serve as the Chair of the Solo, Small Firm, and General Practice Division of the American Bar Association and am focusing on programming and public service projects that meet the needs of the lawyers and citizens we serve. I have also served on the Children at Risk Law & Public Policy Board. I find true joy in working with a group who works so hard to serve children in Texas.

Hired Attorney Melanie Bragg

I was fortunate to be connected to this lawyer. They were able to resolve my case completely after 2 other attorneys were unable or unwilling to do the work. I greatly appreciated their candor and straight forward approach to communications on my case as it turned out to be quite complicated. I was treated with great respect by the attorney and their staff which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend this attorney.

Hired Attorney Melanie Bragg

After Melanie took such good care of me during my mediated divorce, I decided to use her to help me draft my will. In these difficult times it’s important to think ahead and Melanie walked me through the process and helped craft the right will and guardianship agreements for me. I plan to use Melanie for any future legal needs as she’s trustworthy, compassionate and very reasonable.

Hired Attorney Melanie Bragg

She took advantage of us being an out of state client, Our father passed away and we hired her to help in probate court to obtain his estate we were giving a judgement on 1/3 of his property she never filed anything with the county deed records or title company so the stop mom waited 3 years and sold the house we were not on any of the titles or deed like she said we were.. She is a very expensive lawyer for nothing in return.
