Matt Stone is one of the best attorneys in the area. He stuck with me through a couple of tough cases and never gave up. Thanks to him I have Full Custody of my daughter. I would recommend him to anyone needing a great and professionally aggressive attorney.

Even though there maybe some bias to my evaluation, due to having known him for many years, Colby has always conducted himself to be a all around esteemed man of sterling character. He's down to earth, intelligent, and honest (even being a lawyer). Not only has he always been driven to highly motivated to regards for his profession, his a great family man, with unwavering family values. And his unwavering fortitude to his values permeates into his professional life, to add credit to his ethos

Used them for divorce. poor bookkeeping, poor communication, never felt like attorney was working for me. felt bullied, felt rushed, never felt heard. Now the building they occupied has been evacuated permanently as of Sept.2021.

He was the worst lawyer I've ever paid for, He did nothing to represent me his client and charged me more money to not do his job. He did nothing to help me his own client instead helped the other party more by saying they didn't even have to give me Sundays that were court ordered with my daughter. Useless.

To say that Matt Stine is incompetent at his job would be to insult every incompetent attorney out there. He misses deadlines, blames GAL’s for his own inability to follow the most basic of court orders. An attorney has to be horrible beyond belief for his incompetence to negatively affect ALL parties. Simply put, Matt Stone is a disgrace to the legal profession and an argument in favor of every negative attorney stereotype that has ever existed. He would cost too much if he was paying g you to represent you! STAY AWAY and hopefully he will be unable to support himself by further abusing his clients and the legal system as a whole!

Watching this man and how he works a child custody case is deplorable. Let me be clear, I did not consult nor hire him and never would. I had to mark one in order to write this review. I am clearly reviewing a case he is handling or lack there of rather. I am reviewing many attorneys in the St. Louis and Jefferson Counties and I am shocked at the illegal and ineffective ways these people are doing business. I just have to get this out there! He talks to his clients via phone, then next conversation says, I don't recall we talked about that. Seriously, all the attorneys I have been around take notes and those notes go I to the clients file. He gets a good paying client and takes advantage of them. He doesn't read Court orders properly and doesn't dispute when a GAL or other counsel (who are no call no shows to court) are clearly incorrect in those such orders. Facts are that his clients do the work and he collects money from them then doesn't give them the time of day to respond.

I have never experienced worse handling of legal matters ever! This law firm is the saddest known to man!!! I hired them Oct 2020 for a traffic ticket and used them once previously. After paying the $250.00 charge I was rushed out the door and never heard from them again? I left message after message for over a year and a half and never received a call back, email, text, no nothing!! Even when, I explicitly left on the answer machine I have been calling for nearly two years, what is the outcome of the ticket and what fine do I have? I have never had a such communication with any law firm I previously hired in the past or worked for having a paralegal degree myself this is just so, unprofessional!!! I just received a letter from the court of my court date as if the Attorney never filed or put me on the docket or entered an appearance, hello, what was the $250.00 charge for? I still have a fine and now have to hire another attorney, they should be sanctioned sending this Attorney General

Hired Matt over a year ago and paid in advance. He cancelled every appointment I had but not until I had already arrived and was waited for him "finish up in court". Eventually to be told he was not coming and I would have to reachedual. Never returned any of my calls, emails, or did anything on my case because I couldn't even meet with him to go over my options. Even randomly stopped by the office and he wasn't there and never called me like the receptionist insisted he would.

I have been attempting to get answers regarding receiving final divorce documents and not receiving a response. When you pay thousands of dollars for a service a response is the least that is expected.
