He was the worst lawyer I've ever paid for, He did nothing to represent me his client and charged me more money to not do his job. He did nothing to help me his own client instead helped the other party more by saying they didn't even have to give me Sundays that were court ordered with my daughter. Useless.
To say that Matt Stine is incompetent at his job would be to insult every incompetent attorney out there. He misses deadlines, blames GAL’s for his own inability to follow the most basic of court orders. An attorney has to be horrible beyond belief for his incompetence to negatively affect ALL parties. Simply put, Matt Stone is a disgrace to the legal profession and an argument in favor of every negative attorney stereotype that has ever existed. He would cost too much if he was paying g you to represent you! STAY AWAY and hopefully he will be unable to support himself by further abusing his clients and the legal system as a whole!
Watching this man and how he works a child custody case is deplorable. Let me be clear, I did not consult nor hire him and never would. I had to mark one in order to write this review. I am clearly reviewing a case he is handling or lack there of rather. I am reviewing many attorneys in the St. Louis and Jefferson Counties and I am shocked at the illegal and ineffective ways these people are doing business. I just have to get this out there! He talks to his clients via phone, then next conversation says, I don't recall we talked about that. Seriously, all the attorneys I have been around take notes and those notes go I to the clients file. He gets a good paying client and takes advantage of them. He doesn't read Court orders properly and doesn't dispute when a GAL or other counsel (who are no call no shows to court) are clearly incorrect in those such orders. Facts are that his clients do the work and he collects money from them then doesn't give them the time of day to respond.
