Our family retained Cassady Law for a simple probate matter that took place during the middle of the pandemic, the process was very lengthy as a result of the times everyone was going through. A few months after we thought the matter was resolved we learned that we needed a clause in the court order to include a reference to authorizing a power of attorney to obtain medical records. Our family called numerous times trying to hire the firm for the additional service, we were told repeatedly that we would be called back and we weren't. Stacie was the first person we spoke with about the additional service, from then forward it was repeat phone calls with zero response. In my last and final call, wherein a staff member said all she can do is take a message, I let their legal support staff know this would be our last call/attempt to retain as we can't beg the firm to take our money to finish/amend the prior order so that our family could move forward with important matters that still have

So, please be aware that the $1200 Living Trust is a sales gimmick to get you through the door. There will be $2500 more owed to speak to the attorneys as another consultation upon the death of your loved one. Most professional and trustworthy firms charge all fees up front. They accept the delicate nature of their practice and do not burden families additionally upon death. Also, the legal staff typically has transactional paperwork to complete. The staff did not complete my aunt's paperwork correctly, and they had to complete it again. Therefore, I question staffing, training, and compentency.
