Hired Attorney

My experience with Joseph Rocco Mecurio was in Suffolk County Matrimonial Court. He was serving as Judge Glenn Murphy’s law clerk. He came in toward the end to wrap things up so Judge Murphy could continue to serve passively and apathetically. The judgment he wrote was horrendous; unjust, bias and not based on fact or law. Took almost a year to write it and had mistakes such as miscalculations - The guy graduated from law school, but does not know how to add. There were also several grammatical errors and typos. Several key aspects of the case were edited out and never made the final cut. Clearly, Mecurrio is not sophisticated or intelligent enough to handle cases with the smallest fraction of complexity. Unfortunately, in this “system” You get who you get and you don't get upset. Suffolk county Court should do a better job in hiring more capable people. very scary that incompetent attorneys such as Joseph Rocco Mercurio have such power in the suffolk county court.
