Hired Attorney

Scott served as a judge in family case hearings in hartford on three appearances where I was present with my ward. He was patient and thorough with her disability on two out of three days. On day two, he disrespected my client and denied position as her advocate and assistant by removing me from the courtroom when I advocated for her. An important point of law was reviewed in my absence that was foundational to her case: the emergency custody applicatiom form had required custody cases of the couples children in any other state to be declared. A case existed in New York for one of the other children that was not declared, where he was denied custody. NY cases are sealed and inaccesible. I was not present to explain this salient issue and when I was let back in five minutes later, I was told he addressed and dismissed argument on it. He also maintained throughout, that a GAL is not an advocate, which was false. The NY case had witnesses and evidence that is still unobtainable
