If you want to be nickle and dimed on your closing costs then use these guys, terible service, bad follow up and very creative junk fees that even I could not have thought were possible. I've been in Real Estate for almost 20 years, in Florida, no attorney in this state would get away with the junk fees charged and the sloppy service.
Funds withheld at settlement/closing are unaccounted for. Mc-R refuses to respond to requests.
they are horrible!
No communication whatsoever and awful customer service, if any. They gotten so big and think that their customers are only the banks that they don't care about the buyers or anyone else. I'd been there 2 times in the last 3 months and the receptionist is always in a bad mood. Does not even look at you when she talks. We sat for 2 hours in a conference room waiting for an attorney and when I went outside to ask for help, the person made me feel like I was a nuisance.
McCalla Raymer is NOT a good firm to work with. The firm delayed getting documents to my lender for a residential closing. The firm would not even return phone calls from my lender. My lender had to resort to calling them every hour to try and reach someone to speak with her due to the closing being so soon and still no information from McCalla Raymer. Other reviews of this firm on City Search will confirm that others have received the same treatment from McCalla Raymer.
