Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Mr. Mankey and his paralegal Heidi were amazing to work with. They both were very responsive in communications and made sure that I had resources available to me to succeed. Before I met them, I was anxious, nervous, and afraid of the legal process. But both of them went above and beyond to make me comfortable and confident. I would reccommend Mankey Law to anyone that wants a fantastic team.
Mr Mankey handled my case with ease and helped calm my mind during the process of getting everything figured out. He cut straight to the point and didn't give me the run around, I appreciate his honesty he seems like a stand up individual who will get the job done! My case was handled with care and was promptly set in motion with no wasted time.
Very professional, hard working. Kept us informed. Won the case. Helped to receive bail money back. Would hire again. Matthew and Heidi are wonderful.
I was cited for a Domestic Assault charge. I had never been in trouble with the law before, needless to say I was stressed and a bundle of nerves. Prior to Mr. Mankey I spoke to 3 other attorneys. They not only seemed disinterested in my case (even though it was their specialty), all 3 of them told me the chance of "winning" my case was slim to none and they pushed their fees hard. One quoted me $8,000.00 to start and said I was probably looking at close to $12,000 all said and done. The moment I talked to Mr. Mankey he brought me down from the ledge of fear. He explained my charge, in depth explained the process and my options (both good and worse case scenario) and went over his fees. He and Heidi communicated everything along the way and assured me not to worry. The result: we settled out of court with continuance for dismissal. If you find yourself in need of a criminal defense attorney I highly recommend Mr. Matthew Mankey.
Contacting Mr. Mankey was the best thing that ever happened to me since my accident. He stood by me throughout my obstacles. I can't never imagine what I would do without Mr. Mankey and Heidi K. They were extremely focused, dedicated, helpful, and experienced.
I was charged with several crimes resulting from an altercation with my ex-boyfriend. Unfortunately the charges triggered a probation violation as well. Mr. Mankey walked me through the process of getting a restraining order against him without charging me for that part of the representation because he knew hiring him on the new charge and probation violation would be tough on me. No, he isn’t inexpensive but we got superb results. I would highly recommend him. Perhaps most important is that he really cared about me. He would call or text just to see how I was doing. He supported my sobriety and continues to stay in contact with me even though my cases are resolved. He knew everyone in the courthouse, the judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, clerks and even the bailiffs. He is very knowledgeable about the law and can cite cases and statutes off the top of his head. I will be forever grateful that I retained Mr. Mankey. He was the right man for the job.
Mr. Mankey is the best criminal defense attorney. He was very upfront with me about my case. He didn't have to put other attorneys down to make him look better. He is the best criminal lawyer. He even helped me when social services got involved. He didn't take any pushback from the prosecutor. He knew that if I was convicted, it would ruin my life. Mr. Mankey was not afraid to dig in his heels, do the research, and go to trial. He was prepare to go all the way. He filed a motion to dismiss the charges and it was good and long. My case was dismissed and I kept my job, house, and reputation. We are now working on an expungement. Thank you Mr. Mankey.
Mr. Mankey was an amazing criminal defense attorney. He took the time to explain the charges and possible outcomes. He negotiated a stay of adjudication on my charges and I only had to pay prosecution costs. After my year of unsupervised release, we got the charge expunged. He saved me the embarrassment of ever having to put that I was charged with a crime on a job application. He answered all my calls when I was scared because I thought my life was over. I am so glad I found the best defense attorney around. I hope I never need him again but I know he will be there for me if I do. Thank you Mr. Mankey!
Mankey is the best drug lawyer ever. I was dumb and got caught smoking marijuana in a park with friends. I thought I would take the blame for all the weed. That was a mistake. Mr. Mankey got the charge reduced to a public nuisance. The original charge could have stopped me from having a job! I owe him. He did what he said he would do and always gave it to me straight. If he wasn’t available, his paralegal Heidi always returned my calls when I had questions. You can’t go wrong with Defense Attorney Mankey!
My son was going down the wrong path with drugs and alcohol. Mr. Mankey took the time to explain how his life could end up if he didn't maintain his sobriety. Additionally, Mr. Mankey worked to negotiate his domestic assault charge to a disorderly.
