Patrick, Kwiatkowski & Hesselink, PLLC is a law firm with an office in Gaylord, MI. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer practicing criminal law, family law - divorce, personal injury and 5 other areas of law.
The attorney is never available and the legal assistant does not complete petitions and file forms on time. I always have to call the office several times before I get a response and before the proper documents are filed. The documents are filed late, and then I have to explain to probate or the other party that I was not the one at fault.
Absolutely do not hire this law firm, they will take your money and run. I ended up paying Joe for absolutely nothing, I called weekly for 2 months straight which lead up to a week before my original trial date. Never once did I get a phone call in return and eventually I just had to hire another attorney being that I was a week away from trial. I get that Joe is dealing with his own battles but you can’t take peoples money and rob them when they are in a stressful time of their life as well. Not only did I waste the money I had to pay him but you’re also playing with peoples lives by prolonging their legal battles. If you are thinking about hiring this law firm you are making a terrible mistake. Not sure what else I can do at this point, besides leave reviews and spread the word so other people don’t get ripped off.
This lawyer took my money and then I think he forgot about me. He was not available whenever I called, He did not appear at my first court date, yet, I was charged for it. I did not feel as if he was trying at all. It seemed as if he was for the other side, I am still fighting for my kids in this divorce due to his lack of work from the start. I was not notified to be in court on one occasion. My current lawyer said that nothing was done or filed. In still not sure what I paid $3500 for.
