Mr. William M. (Bill) Brownell, Jr.

My case is not over yet, but I felt compelled to go ahead and leave a review. When I contacted Mr. Brownell's office in my search for an attorney, he answered the phone and spoke with me, for free. He asked excellent questions and quoted me a very reasonable fee to retain his services. Every time I met with him, he made me feel at ease, never rushed. Mr. Brownell is very intelligent, knowledgeable, hard working, and sincerely cares about his clients. This man is truly one in a million!!!

When my boyfriend was falsely accused of sexual assault, sexual battery, and rape, Mr. Brownell was comforting to our family and by God did he get the job done. Bill Brownell might seem demure in a personal setting but in a courtroom he grabs the bull by the horns! Not only was he quick to respond to our emails but he was also so well educated with the court system that he knew exactly how to move his chess pieces for a check mate! You could not ask for better representation. Bill's courtroom expertise and legal counseling skills is only exceeded by his bed-side manner. What a comfort in a time of desperate need. To get that level of service and skill at the rate he charges is nothing short of miraculous.

My drug possession case was a particularly complicated one, involving 3 jurisdictions. William, "Bill", was very thorough and diligent with his investigation on the matter. The DA was insistent on prosecuting my case no matter what the evidence showed. Bill stood solidly on what he believed to be the truth, and eventually, after 2 years the DA decided to drop the case the night before the trial. Bill believed in me and he did not waiver one bit, but he does expect clients to tell the truth.

I have referred many people to Mr. Brownell. In fact, members of our family have used him many times for court cases. I have used him twice for child support my ex-husband has owed, neither of which resulted in having to go to court - he was able to get my ex's attention with very stern letters. One regret I have is that I didn't know Mr. Brownell when I had my divorce; based on the results he's gotten with just letters, it would have been such a pleasure to have seen him in court for that!

Mr. Brownell always kept me in the loop of all communication throughout the year long divorce process. He is very well versed on the law and very ethical when executing my rights even when the opposing lawyer did not exhibit morals. He was very prepared for every situation and did his homework. He also knew his limitations and sought out additional expertise counsel. I will continue to have Mr Brownell as my lawyer if needed in the future and I would highly recommend him.

William Brownell restored my faith in the legal system. His professionalism, character, and integrity are beyond question. I just wish he practised in Florida also. He gets 100% in my book!
