Sisemore Law Firm is a law firm with an office in Fort Worth, TX. At this office location, there are 5 lawyers practicing family law, divorce, child custody and 1 other area of law.
My daughter is single mother dealing with child custody. Paperwork from this firm was continually riddled with errors requiring corrections including changes with court. This has required my daughter to have to pay more money. They have been double even tripple billing her to the point they are taking every last penny she gets for support for her baby. She has had to hire a new lawyer. Now this firm going back to try to charge her more money that she doesn't have and charging non payment fees.
I had the opportunity to work with Ashley. The initial consultation was promising but her sympathy and drive disappeared once the retainer appeared. Nothing went smoothly, there was little to no communication, no rush on her part to accomplish anything and she didn’t keep her word on even the most simple tasks. Also keep an eye on billing because you will get double billed, even triple, if you’re not paying close attention.
Due to the lack of experience and ineptitude of Curran Skinner and Justin Sisemore; fraud was perpetuated on the Mediated Settlement Agreement and the final processing of the QDRO for my ex-husband's pension will not be completed until one year from the date of the Mediated Settlement Agreement. I will not recommend your law firm.
If I could give a 0 Star review, I would! Drags it out as long as possible to get more and more money from you and then uses bullying tactics and coercion in order to get a settlement when they think you cannot pay anymore. Would NEVER recommend! Will NOT reveal my real name as I do not want any backlash like other reviewers
I used this law firm for a simple step-parent adoption. I paid my retainer and set up the email in March 2016. My actual court date wasn't until November 2016. They did not update me on anything throughout the case, and if I asked for an update I'd be charged $87 for a 5 minute phone call. After the adoption was finalized in November I was told I had to leave the case open until I received the new birth certificate. They continued to charge me every month as I just waited on the birth certificat
