Marcy handled my divorce in 2010. She was highly professional and above reproach. She responded in a timely manner always, and her service was excellent. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
Marcy represented me in my divorce case. From the start, she was professional, sensitive and caring. Marcy communicated regularly, and she gave sound advice and very wise counsel. I felt I was represented fairly. I would recommend her to anyone. Divorce is painful, and I was scared at the beginning of the process. Marcy put me at ease and helped me thoroughly understand the process. I would recommend her to anyone!
Worst attorney EVER! Marcy did not have any interest in helping me in my case. I paid the retainer fee of $5000, she never listened to what I had to say, I even presented her with information that made a substantial change in my case, and she not only argued it, but the next day she withdrew as counsel stating that she didn't feel we could effectively communicate. She is IMPOSSIBLE to communicate with unless you agree to the other parties terms. She WILL NOT FIGHT FOR YOU, DO NOT USE HER!!!!
Her mind was definitely not in my case. She would barely respond to any of my attempts to contact her, she wouldn't set me up an office appointment until I had to miss a couple of phone consultations because of my work, and when I would send her information pertaining to the case she never reviewed it until I finally got to see her in the office. Which was disheartening, because I thought that she had read through it and was it would be part of our conversation, buy since she hadn't we couldn't.
Attorney Akers was the worst attorney. She was unprepared. She did not know or understand the case. She was very poor at negotiating the divorce. She failed to include any support or protection for me and my rights. She missed major issues. She was just plain awful.
Martha did not represent me well in my divorce case. She failed to argue my case. She was unprepared. She failed to negotiate my case. She was awful. She seemed prejudiced against me as a father. She was afraid to argue my case and to argue for me. she was completely outdone by the opposing counsel. She was intimidated by opposing counsel. Do not hire her.
