About Ryan E. Lackey

I was born and raised in Fort Wayne and attended Indiana University. My family are small business owners in the area, so I have an interest in helping other business owners with their legal needs. I graduated from Roger Williams School of Law in Providence, RI and immediately moved back to Fort Wayne, in hopes of helping the community where I was raised. In doing so, I also run a finance company helping business owners procure loans for their business ventures.

I am a poor single mother who happens to also be disabled. I have had Mr. Lackey represent me as a public defender and he lies, manipulates and threatens in order to resolve government funded cases. Poor people recieve poor representation guilty or not.

Having him as my sons attorney was a nightmare. He like my son's juvenile record to be brought up my son was sentenced to five years in prison with 2 suspended. He did not take the time to explain everything to my son. Ryan Lackey lacks as an attorney. I don't know who he got to put all these prices on his page but he is not a good attorney. He works for the prosecution.

Hired Attorney

Inadequate representation. Did not get some of the charges dismissed after he said he would. Did not even explain why he didn't get charges dismissed. Horrible communicator. Did not return any of my phone calls and never answered the phone even once when I called. He does not have a secretary. I called dozens of times at all hours of the day and he never answered. He didn't speak up and I had to do all the talking in court.

If you end up with Ryan E. Lackey as a public defender dismiss him. He will lie and deceive you. He won't tell you there is a flaw in the case or really fight your case. He likes to make horrible plea deals and convince his client it is the best thing to do. He never even read my case, and tried to argue that I am going to lose when I go to trail, when I obviously didn't lose my case when I went to trail. Don't use this Lawyer. All he wants is the $100 and pass you to the Probation/Jail system.
