Hired Attorney

Hiring Marcy Resnik was the WORST business decision I have ever made. In my opinion, she is a liar and will do everything in her power to take every last dollar her client has. She represented me in a large business dispute, along with her partner, Howard Kahn. Ms. Resnik told me I was entitled to significant damages. The case remained in litigation for over 10 years, throughout which Ms. Resnik billed me a fortune. I repeatedly questioned her about the merits of my case, and whether it was worth the money I was paying her. She always responded that I should continue the case, and I foolishly trusted her. Then, after 10 years of litigation (and nearly $1,000,000 of attorney fees and litigation costs), Ms. Resnik abruptly withdrew from the case, saying it was because Mr. Kahn had a health issue. When I later shopped the case around with other lawyers, I was told that Ms. Resnik was charging me all along to pursue certain damages that cannot even be recovered under Florida law.
