Hired Law Firm

I contacted the firm for their expertise in “Complex Civil Litigation.” Despite their claims of handling high-stakes cases, my experience was disappointing. On March 4, I emailed detailed case information, receiving an automated promise of a 24-hour response, which never came. I followed up on March 9, & was assured Spencer would call, but he didn’t. It took over a month to schedule an interview with partner Ms. McGuire. She engaged with the case strategy & advised me to gather documents from my mother’s realtor. Afterward, they issued an Hourly Retainer Agreement with blank-check clauses, like a $30,000 cash balance and annual rate increases. I negotiated these terms & requested an expanded “Scope of Work” to include commercial fraud claims. Instead of negotiating, Ms. McGuire announced their withdrawal, citing complexity & case load. This was unprofessional, as they had all case details for over a month. Prospective clients should be cautious of their disorganized intake & retainer.
