Is it common to put certain household items in a will?

Answered by attorney Aaron W Goren (Unclaimed Profile)
Estate Planning lawyer at Gottlieb & Goren, P.C.
You can do it by a list that you can change as often as you want, without having to update your Will. It is separate from your Will, but your Will must reference it.

What can be done if my mother did an amendment to her trust and then changed her mind and wanted the amendment voided?

Answered by attorney Edward L. Armstrong (Unclaimed Profile)
Estate Planning lawyer at Edward L. Armstrong, P.C.
Look at the document it again. Normally a document would void the part of the amendment she wanted to cancel and then reaffirm the rest of the trust. Just read the last document carefully, I think that's what it might actually say.

Am I entitled to any of my father's estate if I'm illegitimate?

Answered by attorney John F Brennan (Unclaimed Profile)
Estate Planning lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
It is quite possible unless you there was a court intervention such as you adoption by another, there was no estate, you were mentioned but disinherited in his will or trust, or you would not take because of an intervening party (spouse). Bring the facts and buy yourself an answer with an hour of knowledgeable attorney time.
