Does the family inure the debt the father made without their knowledge once he dies?

No, only his estate is liable for his debts. None of the family will be liable for the debts, unless someone co-signed on the debt.

Don't I have the right to know about my children's trust fund?

Eric James Smith
Answered by attorney Eric James Smith (Unclaimed Profile)
Estate Planning lawyer at Law Office of Eric J. Smith
The short answer is no, but you may be able to demand that the trustee provide an accounting if you feel there has been mismanagement or self-dealing. That demand would probably be made in a probate court, not a family court.

You can set up multiple living trusts to hold different properties. You should retain counsel to do this as there are some things that you will need to do with each of the trusts.
