How can I fight a DUI charge that I disagree with?

Answered by attorney Paul David Stanko
DUI/DWI lawyer at Paul Stanko
If you wish to fight the charges, you need to contact a competent drunk driving defense lawyer. You didn't indicate where the arrest occurred. The "local legal culture" varies from county to county. You need an attorney familiar with the legal culture in the county where you were arrested.

What is the penalty for speeding ticket under DUI diversion?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney John F Brennan (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
Your question cannot be answered without additional facts. I would strongly suggest that you engage an attorney who would argue on your behalf that speeding should not be considered a violation of your diversionary program. If your license was actually suspended at the time of the incident you have a much more serious problem.

When you get a DUI can they put a lock on your vehicle for 10 days?

Answered by attorney Leonard T Schwartz (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Law Offices of Slotnick & Schwartz
No. They do not lock your vehicle. In NJ, the Court can order an interlock device which, after your suspension, requires you to blow into it to unlock the ignition.
