How much trouble am I in exactly for being arrested for DUI?

Cynthia Russell Henley

It is a class A misdemeanor for which you could receive up to 1 year in jail and up to a $4,000 fine. You could also have your license suspended. You need to hire a lawyer immediately because you have limited time to request a hearing on your driver's license matter or your license will automatically be suspended. Also, your lawyer may want to use that hearing for discovery on the criminal case.
