How long will the Statute of Limitations on a DUI last on the record?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
The statute of limitations refers to the amount of time the prosecutor has to bring charges after the offense is committed. If you have 2005 and 2007 convictions, then the statute of limitations plays no role. You want to know about expungements.

Can I still get a DUI after getting my license back?

Answered by attorney Nathaniel D Shafer
DUI/DWI lawyer at Natty Shafer Law
Yes they can. The police and prosecutor will likely make the decision based on the results of the blood test.

Do I really need to hire a attorney for a DUI?

Answered by attorney Eric E Rothstein (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Rothstein Law PLLC
The court will appoint you an attorney if you are indigent. DUI is a real specialty anyway so I would not want to have any public defender the court might appoint. DUI has serious consequences so I suggest you try to find someone.
