Call the Clerk of Court. Identify yourself and the name and number of the case. Explain that you missed court today because of a mistake, and you would like your appearance re-scheduled. If you do it soon enough, the Clerk's office is likely to agree. If it is a criminal matter, they will probably have you speak to the District Attorney. Often they understand that ordinary humans make mistakes, and they have procedures t0 straighten things out. In addition, if anything serious in the way of money or your liberty is potentially at stake, you'd really benefit from hiring a lawyer.

You should review the written retainer contract with your lawyer, it probably was a flat fee which included plea or trial.  I assume that at some point you entered a plea rather than going to trial. The decision to plead rather than go to trial is based upon the advice of your lawyer, which is what you paid for.  A lawyer will file a notice of appearance, request and review discovery from the state, obtain and review the dui video, and enter into negotiations with the state attorney and attend several court hearings before advising you of whether to go to trial or not. It is quite possible that the lawyer decided that you would have a losing case and if you went to trial you may have faced a jail sentence instead of probation as part of a plea. In many cases you are paying for the reputation and experience of the lawyer and some lawyers collect a flat fee which includes a trial.

There is no yes/no answer. It depends on the state and whether or not they have filed a Governor's Warrant. If they filed a warrant then you may be picked up by Florida police agency and held for a maximum of thirty days; Foreign state is notified and that state is responsible for transportation. If they decline to pick you up after notice then Florida will release you.
