Can I get a DUI conviction sealed in Rabun County? It has been 4 years. Thank you.

Answered by attorney Evan Austin Watson

DUI convictions are forever.  Under Georgia law, DUIs do not get expunged, removed from your record, or go away.  Georgia even prohibits First Offender for being used on DUI arrests.

Is it possible to test negative on a breathalyzer and then still have alcohol in your blood?

Answered by attorney Nathaniel D Shafer
DUI/DWI lawyer at Natty Shafer Law
If the breathalyzer was broken, it's possible, but a properly working breathalyzer should not read 0.000 if there is a measurable amount of alcohol in the person's blood.
